The main aim of the Intro/trailer was to cram in as many Reel backgrounds and characters as possible within 3 minutes of animation.
And so the idea of a chase sequence involving Andy Action seemed the most effective and exciting way to go about this.

Before work on the animation began i created a rough storyboard for use as visual guide to how each shot would look.


Intro opens with the unrolling of an antique map of the Silver Screen Solar System. Zooming in one of the removal rocket vans to see Andy Action being transported to Reel.



Andy is dumped on the hillside next to the dilapidated Reel sign.



Andy tumbles down into horror town and various creeps appear from the shadows. A huge shadow then looms over Andy...



The Director appears through the mist and begins to chase after Andy. We zoom in towards a creepy house, Geoff Bolt appears at the cobweb encrusted window.
